A family run business, that takes pride in its work.

We are skilled, experienced trades, who put you first.

We treat our customers in the way we would want to be treated, with respect and with a level of quality and customer service not often seen in the construction business. Our aim is to go above and beyond your expectations.

Our Story

Noahs was the idea of Neil Langridge along with his wife Ali . It began in 2004, when Neil realised that customers were not having all of their property needs catered for with the same level of care, quality and customer service he was giving his plumbing clients.

“Initially specialising in bathrooms, Noahs now encompasses construction and refurbishments as customers returned and asked for more. Our team continues to give our customers the same level of service and commitment I originally set up the business to provide.

“The fact that Noahs operates with the special values of a close and caring family, for both our colleagues and customers, is clear to be seen by returning customers, constant recommendations and long serving (and happy) colleagues” Neil Langridge.

Most of our work comes through recommendation

…from satisfied customers who return to us again and again. What better form of promotion is there!

Working with Noahs is a refreshing change.

The team really care about the standard and quality of their work and don’t cut any corners. They work so hard and a couple of the guys even came in on a Saturday to speed things along. It’s always difficult having workmen in the house, but the Noahs team are so considerate, polite, professional and clean! A joy to have in the house. Our job isn’t finished yet, but what has been done so far is of a really high standard and we’re really impressed.

Our listed property has been transformed by Noahs.

We used them some 14 years ago as a replacement contractor to update 2 bathrooms & cloakroom. We have been wedded ever since.

Noah’s have just completed a renovation & realignment of our ground floor, removing a cat-slide roof, plus single storey extension, new chimney, new entrance and associated groundworks.

We are absolutely thrilled with the result and would not hesitate in recommending Neil & his team.

Their workmanship and approach to it is first class and the team without exception is extremely courteous. We are currently planning some more work with them.

You can count on them.

An extensive renovation of a barn conversion

We needed a team who could help us complete an extensive renovation of a barn conversion and in our search Noah’s were recommended time and again. Having worked with them we can see why.

Having contacted Neil a meeting was arranged where we went through all our requirements. Neil then produced a comprehensive costing and time frame before even officially taking the job on. Once signed up we had an excellent on site team assigned to us, with a site manager always on hand an available.

The project threw up numerous challenges (as old buildings are want to do) but Noah’s team always came up with innovative solutions and kept things moving forwards.

Always demonstrating attention to detail and desire for a quality finish. We are so pleased with the results achieved and would not only recommend Noah’s, but would certainly work with them on any future project.

Renovation on an 1876 school house

Noah’s was a building company that got us interested when a friend of ours said you should check them out.  We saw previous works and a mix of modern and traditional renovations had been carried out. Staring down the barrel of a full renovation on an 1876 school house that had more mushrooms and mould in it than myself or my wife care to remember we needed a mixed approach to the work, on one hand we wanted to work with the original fabric of the building and satisfy the conservation officer, on the other hand we wanted update the old property into modern living standards, and I quote “if this house is cold we will fall out”, Mrs Davies 2023.

The reason for selecting Noah’s as our build team was simple, the communication from Neil & Dave at the start, before any money had changed hands and the project was just an idea was great. Good advice, good communication, site meetings, phone calls and emails all supporting moving the project forward and navigating the planning officer, conservation officer plus the bat lady.

During the works the team were polite, tidy and always respectful to the neighbours. When problems occurred as expected with an old building, options were presented, costs discussed and decisions made collaboratively.

The end product is brilliant, the neighbours have all commented on how good the house looks and how thoughtful the renovation has been.

Top work, thanks Noah’s.
